#76. Watch the Sunrise

After a week that started out relatively badly and carried on being fairly crappy through to Thursday, we decided to go to the cottage. The weather was supposed to be with us, and , as it turns out, it really really was.  So nice, in fact, Henry couldn’t contain his excitement and woke us up at 5am, 6am and 7am when I caught this great picture of the sunrise:I let him poke around a little before dragging him off for a 5km run.  Although for him it was probably more like a 10km run since I personally like to run in a straight line, but happy puppies in the woods do not do straight lines.

    AMAZING photo, oh my gosh!

i’ve seen more photos from staying up late than from getting up early, i think 😉 although last spring in the dominican republic, i did wake up specifically to see the sun rise over the ocean one morning.

(and then promtply went back to bed.)

Thanks! I would have LOVED to go back to bed (and my husband did), but Henry had other plans… mostly bopping, as he has been known to bop about from time to time.

So right. When we take Shane for a walk on Sundays and let him off the leash in the park, what is a 4 mile walk for us is more like a 4 mile walk + 3 mile run. He’s crazy. But it’s good for them. 🙂
    Beautiful sunset.

Aw man, look at that sunrise. It feels refreshing just looking at it. The woods look amazing. I’m glad you got to go spend time at the cottage.

What a beautiful photo! That would make my bad week seem like a distant memory 😉
